Individual Therapy Intensives
A deeper therapeutic container for clients who need more time, presence, and space than a weekly session can offer.
Individual intensives with Tara are designed for clients who are ready to move through deeper therapeutic work with more spaciousness, structure, and support.
These intensives may be helpful if you are working with long-held grief, early attachment wounds, inherited trauma, core blocks, or material that has not shifted through shorter sessions. The work may include yoga, breathwork, trauma processing, nature-based resourcing, reflection, and integration planning.
Why We Created Individual Intensives
Some healing work requires more time, presence, and space than a weekly session allows.
An individual intensive creates a longer therapeutic container where your system has time to prepare, open, process, pause, and integrate. Rather than rushing the work, the structure allows for depth, steadiness, and attunement.
These sessions are designed to support healing that moves beyond insight alone and into a more embodied process of transformation.
This is not about forcing a breakthrough. It is about creating enough safety, time, and support for your system to move through what is ready to be met.
What You’ll Experience in an Individual Intensive
A focused therapeutic container for deeper healing
Individual intensives bring together deep therapeutic work, body-based preparation, trauma processing, nature-based resourcing, and integration support.
Depending on the format, your intensive may include a pre-session clarity call, personalized yoga and breathwork practices, movement, pranayama, psychotherapeutic depth work, silence, grounding, a lunch or rest break, debriefing, and a follow-up call.
You’ll begin to explore:
- what has felt stuck, unresolved, or difficult to reach in shorter sessions
- how your body and nervous system can be supported before deeper work
- how trauma processing can help you move toward root-level healing
- how silence, nature, and reflection can support integration
- how to carry the work forward after the intensive is complete
Who Are Individual Intensives For?
Individual intensives are for clients who feel ready to work with deeper material that may need more space than a regular weekly session.
This intensive may be a fit if you are:
- ready to move through a long-standing block or pattern
- working with grief, attachment wounds, lineage work, or early relational trauma
- feeling like other modalities have not fully reached the root
- needing focused time to work through a specific issue
- preparing for or moving through a meaningful life transition
- ready for body-based work, reflection, and integration
- working with a psychotherapist on a weekly or biweekly basis
- want a deeper dive that can be integrated when you return to regular therapy
An intensive may not be the right fit if you are:
- currently in acute crisis
- without sufficient support outside the intensive
- looking for a quick fix or single-session solution
- not comfortable with body-based therapeutic work
- unsure whether this level of depth feels right at this time
Structure & Philosophy
Individual intensives are built on the understanding that deeper healing often needs time, safety, embodiment, and integration.
This work brings together therapeutic depth, nervous system support, relational attunement, and embodied practice so the session can unfold with care.
Pre-Session Clarity
Begin with a clarity call to identify the focus of the intensive and prepare for the work ahead.
Embodied Preparation
Use personalized yoga, breathwork, movement, or pranayama to help support readiness and regulation.
CRM™ Depth Work
Move into focused therapeutic processing with enough time to stay with the work as it unfolds.
Nature-Based Resourcing
Support the nervous system through silence, walking, grounding, and connection with the natural world.
Debrief and Integration
Close the intensive with reflection, next steps, and practices to support continued integration.
Follow-Up Support
A follow-up call helps you return to the work, ask questions, and support what continues to unfold.

A Foundation, Not A Quick Fix
Intensive therapy is not about rushing the healing process. It is about creating a focused space where deeper work can begin with the right support in place.
At CPYC, EMDR and the Comprehensive Resource Model, or CRM, may be used together during intensives. EMDR supports the processing of difficult memories and experiences, while CRM helps build internal resources, safety, and nervous system support before and during that work.
Together, these approaches help create a more grounded and supportive framework for trauma healing. The goal is not to force change quickly, but to help you begin meaningful work in a way that feels steady, supported, and clinically appropriate.
