Clinical Supervision for Psychotherapists
Relational, rigorous supervision for therapists who want to deepen their clinical work, strengthen their presence, and feel more grounded in complex cases.
At CPYC, Tara and Peter support psychotherapists in growing not just their skills, but their insight, confidence, and connection to Self.
Our supervision is rooted in relational psychotherapy, trauma-informed practice, CRM, attachment theory, self psychology, and other depth-oriented clinical frameworks and adjunctive healing practices.
How Clinical Supervision Can Support You
Feel More Grounded In Complex Cases
Slow down, reflect clearly, and feel more steady when working with trauma, attachment wounds, and relational dynamics.
Understand What’s Happening Beneath The Surface
Explore the patterns, defenses, transferences, and deeper dynamics shaping the therapeutic work.
Strengthen Your Therapeutic Presence
Develop more confidence, self-awareness, and connection to Self as you support meaningful clinical change.
“When The Work Starts To Feel Complex”
Clinical work can ask a lot of you. Some cases stay with you, some dynamics feel hard to name, and sometimes the work calls for more than technique.
Supervision offers a space to pause, reflect, and understand what is happening in the room, in the client, and in yourself as the therapist.
Through relational, trauma-informed supervision, you can deepen your clinical thinking, strengthen your presence, and feel more supported in the work.
Supervision is not just about what you know. It is also about who you are in the therapeutic relationship.
What Is Clinical Supervision?
Clinical supervision is a space for psychotherapists to slow down, reflect honestly, and deepen the way they understand their clients, themselves, and the therapeutic relationship.
At CPYC, supervision with Tara and Peter is relational, rigorous, and grounded in depth-oriented clinical frameworks. Together, you can explore complex cases, therapist responses, ethical questions, relational dynamics, and the inner blocks that may limit clinical effectiveness.
We help you explore:
- what may be happening beneath the surface in complex clinical work
- how your own responses, patterns, and presence shape the therapeutic process
- how to embody the theories and models you already practice
- how to feel more grounded, clear, and connected in your work as a therapist
What Brings Therapists To Supervision
- Feeling stuck or uncertain in complex cases
- Working with trauma, attachment, or relational dynamics
- Wanting to strengthen your clinical presence
- Noticing your own responses showing up in the work
- Looking for support with ethical or relational questions
- Wanting to embody the theories you already practice
- Feeling isolated in private practice
- Seeking deeper confidence, clarity, and connection to Self
You do not have to hold the complexity of clinical work alone.

Deepening the Work Consultation Group
An integrative depth psychotherapy consultation group for psychotherapists, social workers, and mental health clinicians who want to bring more depth, embodiment, creativity, and clinical discernment into their work.
This online consultation group explores how adjunctive practices such as imagery, breath, yoga, sound, somatic awareness, sacred inner spaces, and spiritual material can be integrated ethically and skillfully within psychotherapy.
The focus is not on collecting tools. It is on learning how to discern what a client needs, when deeper work is appropriate, how to support resourcing, and how to keep the therapeutic relationship and treatment goals at the centre of the work.
Program details
Each session may include short teaching, experiential practice, clinical consultation, case reflection, therapist use-of-self exploration, and integration.
This group is offered as clinical consultation and professional development. It is not intended to replace required regulatory supervision unless otherwise arranged in writing.
