Whole Again Foundations: Deepening the Work

This spring marked our third time running Whole Again Foundations, our in-person group program designed for CPYC clients who want to deepen and accelerate their healing through nervous system education, therapeutic yoga, group reflection, and practical tools for building inner steadiness.

This version of Whole Again Foundations was held over four Friday afternoons at The Sanctuary Yoga Studio in Creemore. Tara McGee and Sass Dempsey (of the Sanctuary) facilitated this group experience. Together, participants explored trauma healing, nervous system regulation, parts work, gentle yoga, sound therapy, group discussion, and practices they could begin integrating into daily life.

Participants shared that they left with a calmer approach to stress, practical tools for working with anxiety and overwhelm, a deeper appreciation for yoga as part of healing, and a personalized practice they could continue using beyond the program. Many also found the group setting meaningful, especially the experience of hearing from others and realizing they were not alone in what they were carrying. These participants expressed enthusiasm and capacity for deepening their work in their individual therapy or an intensive group experience.

We are grateful to the participants who brought openness, honesty, and courage to the group. We continue to refine Whole Again so future versions feel even more spacious, supportive, engaging and accessible.

Whole Again Foundations will be offered again in the fall and is open to current CPYC clients who feel ready to add group-based learning and embodied practice to their therapeutic work. Dates will be announced soon.
