Do child therapy sessions include the parent?
It is common for therapy sessions to include the parent for younger children. But depending on the needs of your child, we may also work with you (the parent) alone. If you have an older child in therapy, they may attend all or a portion of their therapy sessions by themselves.

The format of every therapy session your child attends will depend on their personal situation. It will also depend on the therapist’s assessment of how to best help your child.

What should I do if I want to set up an appointment?

For children 13 or younger, we ask that the parent(s) book a therapy session first for our therapist to evaluate capacity for your child to continue with therapy independently. Please book your first session through our online booking tool or reach out to us directly. We will then work with you to set up a time that works for you and your child or teen.
