Help your child move forward through therapy.
Emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders during childhood can create long-term problems that impact the health and wellbeing of your child as well as your family. By seeing a child therapist and providing your children with support through therapy as soon as possible, you can reduce issues at school, at home, and in social situations. Seeking therapy early on can also lead to healthy development into adulthood.
More About Collingwood Psychotherapy & Yoga Centre
If you are looking for a caring, compassionate, and qualified child therapist in the Collingwood, Ontario area, come and talk to us. At Collingwood Psychotherapy & Yoga Centre, we are dedicated to doing what is best for your child to help them work through their mental health obstacles and help them have a happy childhood.
While children are young, it is common for each therapy session to include the parent. Depending on your child’s needs, we may also work with you (the parent) alone. If you have an older child who needs therapy, they may attend all or a portion of their appointments alone. The format of your child’s therapy session will depend on their individual situation and the therapist’s assessment of the best course of treatment.
Therapy can empower your child to heal and move forward, so they can continue to tackle the obstacles life puts in their way. For more information about how we can support you and your child through therapy, or to schedule an appointment, contact us today.
