We are excited to announced that Marta Borges will join our practice as our newest psychotherapist. Born in Brazil, raised in Portugal, educated in the U.S., and rooted in Canada, Marta initiated her path to becoming a psychotherapist when she moved to Montana to complete her undergraduate degree. She then continued her education with a master’s degree in mental health counseling.
Marta has always felt called to be a psychotherapist, and so far in her career, she has worked in acute psychiatric facilities, community work, crisis response, and with families in their home environments, as well as in outpatient care. For her, being seen and heard is the beginning of healing and awakening, and as a psychotherapist, she is here to provide support on your journey of self-exploration, acceptance, and love.
Marta works with children, youth, and their parents, as well as trauma survivors. Her approach to psychotherapy complements our practice’s fundamental beliefs in providing a friendly, safe environment that allows our clients to discover their healing paths. She is also currently training to be a yoga Instructor, and we hope she will be able to offer yoga classes in the future. She brings a wealth of information along with her, and we know her experience will be a positive contribution to our focus of bringing healing and growth to our clients’ therapeutic processes. Bringing Marta onto our team marks an exciting phase in growth for our practice, and we are excited for where this expansion leads us in the near future.
Feel more connected in your relationships, explore your emotions with guidance, develop a purposeful meaning in life, and discover how to be more fully you by working with Marta or one of our other therapists. Contact us today to schedule your next appointment.
