Who I Work With
Therapy for men who think therapy isn’t for them
If you’re a man who feels like therapy is a last resort, I get it. You’ve probably learned to keep things in, fix problems on your own, and push forward no matter what. But at some point, that strategy stops working—especially in your closest relationships.
Therapy with me isn’t about sitting on a couch spilling your feelings to a stranger. It’s about building a relationship where you’re respected, challenged, and supported. We slow things down, get clear on what matters to you, and help you reconnect to your sense of dignity and direction.
You don’t have to be great at talking. You just have to show up. I’ll meet you where you are.
Working with Couples: repair, reconnection, and real change
I work with couples who are caught in patterns of conflict, distance, or disconnection. Sometimes things feel explosive, sometimes silent—but either way, it’s painful. Maybe you’re stuck in the same arguments that never resolve. Maybe you don’t know how to talk without one of you shutting down or lashing out. Maybe intimacy—emotional or physical—has started to fade.
In couples therapy, I bring a balance of structure and warmth. I work from a Virginia Satir perspective, grounded in Relational Psychotherapy. This means we focus on honest communication, self-awareness, reworking old patterns and helping each partner take responsibility for their part—without blame. It’s not about who’s right. It’s about how the relationship works (or doesn’t), and how to rebuild something more real and connected.
People often fear couples therapy will be a place where they’re “the problem.” It won’t be. I don’t take sides. I help you both see what’s really happening beneath the surface—and build the skills and self-understanding you need to make lasting change
I provide Clinical Supervision for Psychotherapists working from a Relational Psychotherapeutic Perspective.
